The Smiths, Brookhaven Family Photographer

There are some families that come back year after year and I get extremely anxious to get behind the camera for them. The Smiths are one of those families. We met at their special spot at Murphy Candler Park where Jonah played a mean trick on me. He pretended to be mister shy guy, and wouldn’t laugh at any of my jokes. Literally as soon as we walked in their house, we were best friends again. This is why I love photographing families at their home. It’s commonly the place where people are most comfortable. At the time of our session, Clara was just about to turn 1-yr old. One of their traditions is a birthday pancake stack covered in homemade whipped cream. Is that not a delicious genius idea? Bath time followed the frosting mess, and some extra play time with mom and dad. Below are some highlights from our time together:
